How do I setup Journalname.domain.net

Ok what in my DNS record or whatever do I need to set to have users be able to access there journals thru

nameofjournal.domain.net

instead of www.domain.net/users/journalname?

also what do I have to put in ljconfig.pl ? it tells me "urls like http://username.domain.net are not available for this users account type (I have tried all 5 account times with no luck is there something I should add to my config to let all users be able to do journalname.domain.net ?
