Getting username

Hi,

I am wondering if there is a way to determine what user I am currently logged into LJ as, because I am trying to create a frame of specific LJ links and such I use (somewhat anaogous to the control strip).  I figure I need to get the information out of the LJ cookie, but I don't know how.
