Tagging images or or posts remotely

I can't find out how to set tags on pictures or blogs when i upload remotely. I am uploading pictures similar to http://pics.livejournal.com/doc/protocol/tech.methods.uploadpic.bml and am posting with LJ.XMLRPC.postevent. Ideally, i would like to set tags for the image, but setting a tag for the blog post would be nice too. Can anyone help me out?
