s2ids

brad has a permanent account.
xevinx has a paid account.
cookie has an early adopter account.
natakryu has a free account.

when logged in as me, observe:
style=mine: brad, xevinx, cookie, natakryu.
?s2id=#: brad, xevinx, cookie, natakryu.

it all checks out. except for natakryu's journal.

i would expect, that when i'm logged in as me, that all journals, when applied an s2id, would be displayed using the style associated with that s2id.
this, however, is not the case with journals that are free accounts.

i understand that this should not be the case when someone, not logged in as me, tries to view a journal other than mine, using one of my s2ids, that it would load the default journal layout of the journal being viewed.

this seems to be style system independent and only based upon the account status of the journal being viewed.

all syndicated accounts are free accounts. i'm not sure if you can actually purchase a "gift" for a syndicated account, but, since they're free, this limits testing for s2 layouts based on journal type. for views other than friends view at least.

i believe that the following should be true:
  • i should be able to view any journal, while using any s2id that is owned by me, in the style that is associated with that s2id
  • i should be able to view any journal, while using style=mine, in the currently active style on my account
  • any visitor (logged in or not logged in) should be able to view my journal, while using any s2id that is owned by me, in the style that is associated with that s2id
