For those who are stuck with a stale working copy, I've made a tarball of the CVS repository as it was about half an hour ago. It has a similar structure to the old release tarballs from before there was public CVS: it's the result of running bootstrap.pl on the latest versions of livejournal, bml and wcmtools. There's no ljcom in there, though. ljcom hasn't changed for a couple of weeks anyway.
Hopefully this will suffice until someone bothers to either transfer to Subversion or fix CVS. I was considering setting up my own Subversion repository, but I concluded that it would be counterproductive in the long run as people would end up with checked out copies pointing at the mirror and would have to do svn switch to fix it, which is just unnecesary pain.
Hopefully now the torrent of contributions will resume! (wcmtools is in there, so you can also use this tarball if you want to work on memcached, Perlbal, MogileFS or S2, so long as you don't mind downloading a bunch of redundant crap.)
