Recent pics security

As there seems to be a meme going around, asking people to spread news of LJ's "recent picture" XML and its insecurity, let me post this here for one central linking point for people to use in their refutes:

Only images from public posts go into the feed.

That said, if you edit a post and change its security later from public to something else, it's still in the image queue until it rolls off (usually a couple minutes or less).
