Not Detecting Digest::SHA1

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but figured I should report it just in case. I've tried the latest CVS code on two systems (different distributions, etc) and experienced the same problem. Even though the Digest::SHA1 perl module is installed, bin/checkconfig.pl does not detect the module and the server refuses to start. Anybody else experiencing this? If so, should I report it to Zilla?
