I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering. After graduation, I worked for the National Robotics Engineering Consortium.
For a whole bunch of reasons, I recently moved to Kansas City. Since moving the only work I have been able to do is part time technician work. Since I only work part time, I have some spare time. Since I hold a masters and I work as a technician, my mind wants something else to do. I am looking to keep up and improve my coding skills and well as something intellectually stimulating.
Here's my main question of the day: is the a faq somewhere that answers new LJ developer questions, such as:
- what language do you code in?
- what development software do you use?
- what do I need in terms of hardware/software to help?
- What needs to be done?
I am looking forward to helping. I have enjoyed the site for the last several months and I want to give something back to the community.
