code status

livejournal.com is now running the latest code from CVS, but with $LJ::UNICODE still turned off. If no issues pop up in the next day, then I'll flip it on.

In the meantime, I have a few billion patches to apply.

On my development machine I've made a ton of progress on the text/language removal. It's going to be damn easy to run sites like DeadJournal.com using the latest codebase, but keeping all the text totally separate. More on that later.
