Over the past few days, I've come across some bugs on LiveJournal that I either haven't investigated more or can't reproduce on my own server:

1. You couldn't specify the font "Courier New" in an override such as this:

<style type="text/css">
body, html, td, font, div, p {
font-family: Courier New;
font-size: 8pt;

This causes the GLOBAL_HEAD override to not be included in the journal at all. However, if you added a single space after the second GLOBAL_HEAD, it would work. I narrowed the problem down to the word "New." Times New Roman didn't work without the space, but Comic Sans MS and Courier Neu worked. I couldn't duplicate this on my test server, only on LiveJournal. This problem seems to have disappeared now, but I'm bringing it up because it's so odd.

2. When the server searches to see if an interest has been defined before, it treats accented and non-accented characters as the same. See this support request (#26776) for more information. I didn't feel like tracking down the source of the problem, but it probably should be corrected (if the UTF-8 conversion doesn't fix it) since someone could maliciously screw up currently undefined interests by using odd characters.
