Everybody will have their own complete LJ dev environment, right down to your own apache and mysql you can stop & start at will.
You'll access your web root through a URL like http://lj-devbox.livejournal.com:8001/ and up.
I'll also provide all the tools you need to stay up-to-date on CVS, etc.
I've been watching too many people trying to do development on Windows & on their personal Linux boxes with everything setup wrong.... painful. So I'll take the pain and do this to make your lives easier.
