s2: customizations [Aug. 14th, 2003|05:52 pm]

[mood |annoyedannoyed]

Let's say I was using the new component style with lots of overrides (links, placement of components, all colors).

Now, I switch styles to show another person the different styles you can use with paid accounts and S2, as I just purchased them a paid account.

I switch back to see that ALL of my overrides are missing.

Are there plans to be able to save these overrides sometime in the (near) future?

I was thinking it would be cool for a user to save their overrides like they save a style. For instance, you could make all your customizations then 'save' it with a name. This way a user could make custom color schemes, etc., through the customizations page and be able to switch to them at will.

Just a thought.

Also, has anyone looked at the technology that MindSay.com is using? It would be a nice feature for users to be able to update their LiveJournal through Instant Messenger...

*gets back to trying to piece together his colors*

edit: yes, I realize I could make a layer. Please see comments.
