Before I file this as a bug in zilla (and fix it), are you meant to be able to add contritbutions without a category as is currently possible on /site/contributors.bml?

Perl -> PHP Port [Feb. 20th, 2003|03:33 pm]

I'm broke, and I don't know anyone with a LiveJournal, so that leaves me on the test account. I'm surprised they didn't lock it. Oh well.

Does anyone know if there is a PHP port of LiveJournal being worked on anywhere, or if they're considering working on one here? It would create much more widespread compatibility; I was trying to install LJ on my hosting, but I don't have the kind of access I need to install all of the Perl modules that are required. PHP is the most popular server side scripting language, and I daresay that porting to PHP would make LJ a whole hell of a lot more popular on the distribution front.

Yes/no/maybe so/already suggested?
