I may have missed an earlier discussion on this, and if I did, please point me to that URL. Now onto my question - Would there be any way to implement the Trackback feature in LJ? I think this would be a great way to further integrate the entire online journaling community, and to better connect LJ with all of the bloggers out there. With things as they are (unless I've missed something obvious), I'd have to set up a blog account in order to issue a trackback to a friend's blog, and then I'd have to cross-post entries to both my LJ account and my blog, since most of my friends are on LJ, but there are a few tightly clinging to their blogs. I really think this would help to further integrate the internet as a community, rather than isolated islands of journals.

Thanks.

Getting acknowledged [Feb. 10th, 2003|01:33 pm]

Should I have faith that somebody will eventually acknowledge my contribution, or should I try to bring attention to myself by, say, posting to lj_dev? I ask because I am very interested in participating in The Bazaar, but I don't think anyone who is already an acknowledged contributor has ever looked at LJKit.
