Find a userpic [Jul. 21st, 2002|11:53 am]
LiveJournal Development

I've created a tool that will find who all is using a specific userpic. This was semi-inspired by this post.

Try it with picid's '2' and 'blah' just to test it. Feel free to create as many accounts as you want and upload userpics.

I'm sure the wording could be better, so any suggestions would be appreciated. :-)

(Here is the source: http://goathack.livejournal.org:8030/tools/findpic.bml.txt)

Update: I added the LJDEP info. I hope I did it correctly.

Mode List [Jul. 21st, 2002|11:20 pm]
LiveJournal Development

Since this is directly related to LJ Development, I figure this is the best place to mention this:

In the documentation for postevent:
itemid The unique number the server assigned to this post. Currently nothing else in the protocol requires the use of this number so it's pretty much useless, but somebody requested it be returned, so it is.

Not exactly true. The ItemID is used when a client wants to retrieve (getevents) or edit existing entries (editevents).

Yeah, maybe I'm being a bit nit-picky, but it is a bit confusing at first. Just thought I'd mention it.
