This is a simple patch that provides users with "friendly" error 404 and 500 error messages, as discussed here. Get the patch at http://goathack.livejournal.org:8055/friendlyerrors.patch . Tested. Thanks to asciident for providing the error messages.

I thought I had seen this reported.

User advised to use download client, states she cannot, that entry must be edited with the webclient, and that she needs it done ASAP.

Is there at all a possibility that someone can code a patch that will allow the web client to do this?

English Ripping and Javascript [Jun. 9th, 2002|11:13 pm]

The code for /friends/edit_do.bml has Javascript in it (for "Mr. Color Viewer")... Some English text is contained within the Javascript code. Since the Javascript seems to be done client-side, it doesn't go through the BML interpreters (I'm pretty sure this is right).

So how do we rip the English from the Javascript properly?
