[PATCH] for /interests.bml - My own stupid bug

In interests.bml, I forgot why I had to pass a number to one of the translation variables. I hardcoded 2000 instead of using $intcount. This patch fixes.

(I originally hardcoded 2000, thinking we would sometime in the future want to pass a variable MAXINT that doesn't exist right now.)

Sorry for giving you a lame patch earlier Brad. It totally slipped my mind that the number wasn't supposed to be 2000 everytime.

Thanks to kelvena for pointing it out here.

Resubmission of patch: /ljcom/htdocs/download/index.bml

This is the functional version of my recent, untested patch. I missed a comma near the end of the file, and as a result the entire thing broke. O Brad, never again will I submit an untested patch to thee.

Changes from the previous patch:
  • This one actually works (I hate commas)
  • Replaced the old BML syntax with the new syntax
  • Corrected the Mozilla client's community
  • Changed the homepage for iJournal

In the future I plan on removing the English from the file, after some standardization of the client descriptions is made. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done on this page (if it's left in the form that it is), so I wanted to get this patch out before finding even more updates that need to be added.

The only annoying thing that this patch produces is some annoying HTML in the address bar when viewing the Palm OS clients page, due to the trademark symbol. All copyrights/trademarks should probably be credited (eg, Windows) on this page in the future.

The proposed index.bml file.
The patch for the current index.bml file.

You can view the patch in action here.
Thanks to supersat for the goathack testing.

I'll personally buy a pizza for anybody that finds (and optionally fixes) the bug in DBI::Role that's causing the server errors lately.

Somehow we're killing a handle that we're still somewhere using.

Or we're populating the handle cache before the Apache fork and all children get it. But I don't see that path being possible.

It worked sometime. Where'd I break it? :-)

I'm intrested in helping out with LiveJournal. Ive been using livejournal for the last year and would like to help out more. I have some ideas but no way to test them out if someone has access to a server so i can test out the new ideas let me know if not i can blind code them. My idea is for the intrest list is if it is too long to have an option to add it to your intrests without having to manually add it
