e-mail registration and login confusion? [Mar. 16th, 2002|10:11 am]
LiveJournal Development

while i was logged in as my normal account, 'eyenot', i got a new idea and made a new journal for a community. while i was working with the new journal, i logged out as 'eyenot' and logged in as the new journal, with the 'permanent' login option (cookie). however, when i clicked the url in my mailbox to verify my registration, it logged me back in as 'eyenot'. this made me wonder, what if the email address that i gave for the new journal was somebody else's email box? would they have also connected to lj and logged in as my account?

i'm easily confused by any situation, so i could be missing something, but it sure seems like a bug to me.

Is it possible to have mutiple clusters setup using only one database?
or would i need to find some other way of doing it?

Want to test code to make sure it'll works properly on clustered servers..
